  APTITUDE TEST The aptitude tests for third-year students were conducted on March 20 for Mechanical Engineering, March 21 for Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), and March 22 for the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) departments respectively. ACCET TIMES THE HARVEST FESTIVAL        The harvest festival which is known in tamilnadu as  'Thai pongal' and in other parts of India as Makarasankaranti  is celebrated in  each year in all parts of india on the month of january. The farmers who work hardly all over the year praise the lord suryabhagavan through this festival as sunlight is important for crop's growth. The harvest festival in tamil nadu is celebrated for 3 days.  ACCET PONGAL:            pongal  festival was celebrated in a grand manner in our college on 10.01.2020 near open auditorium. The function was held by our ACGCET tamil club 'muthamizh mandram'. The celebration started at 8.00AM  and ended at  1.00PM.   WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: As the intra college sports day 2024, ACMARA rivalry is taking place, as part of it, Women’s basketball match was conducted on 11 th  of march. The Ignatz and Phoenix entered the finals after the former defeated the Akkadians and the latter the Typhonz. After a tough match, Ignatz hailed as winners defeating the Phoenix thanks to the teamwork and amazing gameplay by the Ignatz. Congratulations to all the players. WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL MATCH: “Even if we’re not confident that we’ll win, even if others tell us we don’t stand a chance, we must never tell ourselves that!” – Daichi Sawamura, Haikyuu The women’s volleyball matches were held on 12 th March,2024. The matches were held between the 1 st and 4 th year students and 2 nd and 3 rd year students, from which the 3 rd and 4 th year team had advanced to the finals.
