MEDICAL CAMP Medical camp was conducted for ECE department this Tuesday (14.02.23). Basic requirements such as pulse, height and weight were measured. The doctor asked some basic questions regarding the student’s health and consulted in case of any abnormality. This is a much-needed practice now as many students are getting ill recently. ARDUINO WORKSHOP ARDUINO is a variant of C++ language. We engineers have the responsibility of learning and inventing things from the scratch through our creativity. Our fresher's club has taken this responsibility to another level by conducting a workshop on Arduino it consisted of a presentation on all about Arduino and the presentation was given by the coordinators of the fresher’s club on 14 February 2023 and they have also given a glimpse of Arduino hardware and Autodesk.   THIRAN 2023 Thiran is one of the most bustling clubs in our college which always goes extra mile for our students. The most anticipated competition of ACGCET called “THIRAN” which was started by our college alumni exclusively for our college students to quench their technical knowledge in their respective departments. The clash off is seemed to be held on 04 th of February 2023 at SANGAMAM HALL, PLACEMENT CELL and MECHANICAL CLASSROOMS for the particular departments of EEE, ECE and MECHANICAL for both second years and third years. Our eager beavers were found presenting their ideas and projects to the alumni. The participants were seemed very grateful for the coordinators of Thiran  for motivating them to participate and cordially thankful to their faculties for guiding them.   AARBEE STRUCTURE PLACEMENT DRIVE Aarbee Structure is a steel design and detailing company that is developing technology for the future. On 31 St of January and 1 st of February, our college hosted an Aarbee Structure placement drive for the civil department. Our college students did their absolute best to ensure good placements. BOOK FAIR A book fair was held in Sivagangai for 3 days from 1.2.23 to 3.2.23.   Unlike some book fair, many useful and interesting books and novels were sold. Students from our college attended the book fair. It was refreshing that the students got to explore more books other than just their syllabus. Cultural events were also held for the fair. STUDENT FILM In order to motivate the students, a film was shown at our college students at Murugappa Hall on 2 nd February,2023.
