NAN MUDHALVAN INTERACTIVE SESSION There was an interactive session held on August 21, 2023 with the Managing Director of Tamilnadu Skills Development Corporation, IAS Thirumathi innocent J.Divya ma’am. Our Principal Dr. P. K. Palani sir and Vice Pincipal Dr. K. Bhaskaran sir presided over the function.   INDEPENDENCE DAY The 77 th Independence Day at our college was a momentous occasion, marked by a spirited NCC parade and the grand hoisting of the national flag. The campus buzzed with patriotic fervor as students and faculty gathered to commemorate the day. The NCC cadets showcased their discipline and dedication during the parade, marching in perfect unison and saluting the tricolor flag. The event's highlight was the solemn flag-hoisting ceremony, where the fluttering tricolor symbolized the nation's freedom and progress. The celebration concluded with a renewed sense of patriotism and a commitment to upholding the values of freedom and unity. BIS CLUB MEETING On August 11, 2023, in the virtual hall, the Madurai branch of the Bureau of Indian Standards held an event to educate students in the civil department about the ISI standards of various industrial items that are used in our daily lives. The organization also raised awareness of the significance and identification of the gold HUID number. Additionally, they ensured that each participant in the room had the BIS care program installed and understood how to use it. The association also held a competition for students to write “STANDARDS” with a ballpoint pen in order to increase their understanding of the background of acquiring ISI standards. Every student took part with great enthusiasm, and those who excelled were awarded cash prizes of ₹1,000, ₹700, ₹500, and ₹250 as first, second, third, and consolation prizes.
