INDUSTRIAL VISIT: EEE 3 rd YEAR Our college 3 rd year EEE students went for an Industrial Visit to Ooty from 3 rd March to 5 th March. They visited the Radio Astronomy Centre which is a part of National Centre for Radio Astrophysics (NCRA). They all observed the complete research place and gained the knowledge regarding Radio Astronomy. They visited botanical garden too. Ramamoorthy Sir, Pradeep Sir, Dhivya Ma’am and Priyanka Ma’am accompanied them and took utmost care. CSE 2 nd YEAR The 2 nd year students from department of computer science and engineering of our college have gone for an industrial visit to Ooty on 10.3.23 and 11.3.23. They have gone to Radio Astronomy Centre in Ooty where they attended a session on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. BOWLING AH, FIELDING AH As the name suggests, Rotaract club of our college has conducted an event mainly for cricket lovers. The event took place for 2 days on 25.2.23 and 26.2.23. Many students participated in the event. The runner up was team 6x and the winner was team 1 st year kings. This is believed to be really motivating for first year students in the field of sports. The winners and runners received exciting prizes. SERIES TEST The series test-l for all second and third years was held from the 22 nd to the 24 th of February in Murugappa Hall and drawing hall of our college. Students had worked hard to prepare for this series test. This series test would assist them in preparing for their upcoming semester exams. As a result, the students have potential and should work on their weaknesses in order to achieve better results. MEDICAL CAMP Medical camp was conducted for ECE department this Tuesday (14.02.23). Basic requirements such as pulse, height and weight were measured. The doctor asked some basic questions regarding the student’s health and consulted in case of any abnormality. This is a much-needed practice now as many students are getting ill recently. ARDUINO WORKSHOP ARDUINO is a variant of C++ language. We engineers have the responsibility of learning and inventing things from the scratch through our creativity. Our fresher's club has taken this responsibility to another level by conducting a workshop on Arduino it consisted of a presentation on all about Arduino and the presentation was given by the coordinators of the fresher’s club on 14 February 2023 and they have also given a glimpse of Arduino hardware and Autodesk.   THIRAN 2023 Thiran is one of the most bustling clubs in our college which always goes extra mile for our students. The most anticipated competition of ACGCET called “THIRAN” which was started by our college alumni exclusively for our college students to quench their technical knowledge in their respective departments. The clash off is seemed to be held on 04 th of February 2023 at SANGAMAM HALL, PLACEMENT CELL and MECHANICAL CLASSROOMS for the particular departments of EEE, ECE and MECHANICAL for both second years and third years. Our eager beavers were found presenting their ideas and projects to the alumni. The participants were seemed very grateful for the coordinators of Thiran  for motivating them to participate and cordially thankful to their faculties for guiding them.
