Soldering using a pencil

A pencil !
What can a pencil do apart from writing scriptures? 
Can a pencil be converted to a soldering rod ? 
Yes! and here's the possibility of using pencil as a heater element .
Apparatus required :
1.Normal pencil /mechanical pencil
2.soldering lead
3.12 v ,6Abattery
4.connecting wires as required
Procedure :
1.Cut size the pencil such that a provision for wire .Cut it along its curved surface area without damaging the graphite lead in the middle .

2.Connect positive terminal of the battery to the pencil .

3.Negative is connected to the soldering lead .


4.Start soldering in the usual method with the only exception that we are using a pencil instead of a heating rod!

Not a pen ,also pencil is mightier than sword !

Please do try this in your place of choice .In case of mechanical pencil , you can save time for shaping the pencil for usage .You can directly connect the supply to the graphite lead .
