Mr.Balaji Sheshadri (accet alumnus) is to visit our campus coming Saturday to conduct a session on embedded C .
Interested students were advised to register their names to their respective Thiran OGC(ororganizing committee members).
Mechasso:
"MECHASSO" (Mechanical association of ACCET)was inaugurated on August 21. The Chief guest Mr. S.Baskaran ME., (Argos pvt ltd) an entrepreneur gave lots of lively concepts about entrepreneurship. Certificates were distributed for our college's SUPRA, EFFICYCLE and SOLAR-CAR teams.

To enrich and enhance the environment towards the path of development the ideas may be many. In that Rotary came up with an idea of marathon which started from Alagappa university at 7a.m., for LITERACY AWARENESS on 24th August which is to be noted as 4th marathon race conducted by the Rotary club of Karaikudi .School children , AUCPE staffs, Rotarians, Rotractors, and teachers from various schools participated in the marathon under the guidance of POLICE and TRAFFIC department.

TECH-LIT INAGURATION:
Literary activities for Technical Students (Tech-lit) had successfully completed its inauguration on 26.8.205. Our principal Prof.A.Mala, presided over the function. Prof.R.Ravikumar, the staff advisor of Tech-lit was also present. Prizes were distributed to prize winners of last years’ event

''Action is the Key to all success''-ISTE Association is organizing weekly event (wednesday) for Pre-Final year students regarding placement activities in aptitude skill context. They have created a closed group in facebook and aptitude questions are being updated in it.

CAT OR COMMON ADMISSION TEST:
CAT or Common Admission Test is the MBA entrance exam of India written by over 2 lakh people each year.It is conducted by the IIMs and this year IIM Ahmedabad is the conducting body. The exam is on 29th November,2015
Exam Pattern:
The exam pattern for this year has completely changed. The exam will have three sections namely Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Verbal and Reading Comprehension (VRC) . QA and VRC will have 34 questions each and DILR 32 questions . Most of the questions are of MCQ type while fill in the blanks type questions are also included. The time limit is 180 minutes with 60 minutes exactly for each section. Candidates are not allowed to switch to other section before completing one section.
For the first time Basic on-screen calculator is provided for this exam.

Mr.Raafi Mohammed (2013 batch alumni )
conducted a placement training session at Mini drawing hall on 25-8-15 for the pre-final years .Students actively attended the session .
