Alconesy :

Everything is set for the start of alconesy 2k15.Next tuesday marks the 18 th national level   EEE symposium.An online event is to be held today between 7 -8 p.m which is open to all Accetians irrespective of department .Attractive prizes awaits !!

ECIL (Electronics corporation of India ltd):

ECIL members visited our campus to conduct a session on improving employability. They briefed about the current employment opportunities in the field of electronics .It was conducted for two consecutive days .

Fresher's association:

Fresher's association of ACCET conducted a session on "Basics of C programming " to the present first years .Around 100 students attended  

the session .

Alumni visit :

Mr.Rajaram (2008-11 batch EEE )visited the campus yesterday.He met around 20 students from third year EEE and put forward his idea of product development to the students .He asked the students to split into various groups (infact  companies !) and he  is to assign each group with a task of a business product (say a calling bell !).He briefed about the money flow process in industries and explained the subcontracts in it.He concluded the session by sharing some of his interview experiences .


Ryla II:
Around 10 selected members of Rotaract club of ACCET had left for SELVA RYLA (Rotary Youth leadership awards )which is conducted at Kodaikanal this year.Previously,'Jumbo ryla ' was held last month by the Rotary club of Tinnevely .

Movie mania :

The movie masterminds of Accet have come with a new short  film with the title "Vetti Pasanga ".The short films teaser was released two days back( !) and it received a huge round of applause in the hostels of ACCET.The sound recording ,dubbing ,music  and the entire short film was made within  the hostel premises .

A creative hobby indeed !
