THE RESULT AT LAST!!!
After much dissapointments at each message received for so many days, the results atlast came like a thief upon the poor sleeping souls yesterday at 5 am. Never in the history of ACCET hostels was such a day whence all the students were super active before 6 in the morning.
Amid such a commotion our ACCET Online team came up with a cgpa calculator where you can get your GPAs calculated when you give the grades and their credits. The new move by the team is worth commending.
ROCA EVENT-
Yup! A very interesting event was conducted by the Rotract club on monday. It was named "POW OWW".
The name is as interesting as the event. They had a group discussion on the view of the engineers about the chennai flood. And also most interesting discussions on whether it is sufficient for ACCET to be in the 47th place in India or if it is more than enough. Other clubs are preparing to give their best in upcoming weeks. So we may expect very good and interesting events in the following days. Be eager to participate.

Until now accet news knocked your browser by means of their blog . And now, ACCETIANS have entered into an upgraded version . Yeah ! ACCET radio is now on . First show of accet radio was successfully podcasted with the support of THIRAN .

BIOMETRIC FINGER PRINT
The college took a technical step for the security of our girls by the installation of 5 biometric finger prints at their hostel gates. The fore finger prints of all the students with their specific ID no was registered and is periodically monitored each time. Students are being requested to use the security system in hostels.As soon as the student uses it, it captures their photo with the time of their visit and gives them a verification sound.
Asset -87:
The placement training program funded by the ACCET 87 batch exclusively for the third years.The classes are handled by Mr.Sudir (a management trainer).
Robotics : A 90 hour robotics program has been announced for interested students in third year.The classes are split up and scheduled for 15 Saturdays .

NATIONWIDE EDUCATION AND SCHOLARSHIP TEST-2016
The Nationwide Education and Scholarship Test(NEST) is being conducted every year by the S.U.Foundation of india. The main purpose of the NEST is to inspire,encourage ,help and guide students to perform better in their academics. Many business firms,NGO trusts and other organizations will sponsor the scholarships. This exam is categorized as NEST-1 and NEST-2. NEST-1 is conducted for the freshers and second year engineering,medical ,BCA,arts and science and polytechnic students and those of standard twelve who opted science groups. The toppers in NEST-1 will be awarded Rs.75000 and the remaining will get their rewards based on their marks. NEST-2 is conducted mainly for the third and final year students. The toppers in NEST-2 will be rewarded Rs.100000.
The questions will be of multiple choice, fill in the blanks and yes or no type. Students can refer the books of GATE, CAT, GRE,TOEFL,CET, etc. The syllabus for NEST-1 is physics and chemistry of class 11th and 12th and that of NEST-2 is technical aptitudes and from any one of the following core,
1.COMP/IT/ELEX/TELECOM/ELECTRICAL/INSTRUMENTATION
2.AUTO/AERO/MECH/PRODUCTION/BIO-TECH
3.CIVIL/ARCH/BIO-CHE 4.MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS
