Muthamizh mandram: The most awaited mega event of the year by ''Muthamizh Mandram"had been held on 17.10.2015. Because of arrear exams and extra classes the usual strength was missing, but not the usual spirit. Those who complete all the 25 events with best scores would be the winners. Two teams shared the first prize. Prizes were also distributed for the winners of weekly events and the elocution competition. Blood donation camp :                    LEO club of  ACCET,conducted a blood donation camp in association with LIONS  club, Karaikudi on 6.10.15 in our college.  Our Principal Prof.A.Mala and  other members of LIONS club, Karaikudi were present there. Nearly 260 people in and around ACCET donated blood and saved several lives through this camp.  During the camp Fresher's association: Freshers association conducted a class about paper presentation for the first years on 6-10-15 . They were taught about the rules of presentation, how to send the abstract, the things to be included while arranging slides,the way they need to present themselves while presenting the paper.   Components required : 1.5 sensors(LDR ) 2.Wooden stick 3.Connecting wires 4.Adapter 5.Black tape 6.Screws 7.DC jack 8.In case of 9v battery snap is required 9. buzzers 10.Batteries (5/9 V) Procedure 1.Take a wooden stick of 80-90 cm and fix 3 sensors at the end  of the  stick . 2. Fix  the remaining 2  sensors on the body stick for left and right detection. 3. Connect all the positive terminal of sensors together( same  for negative terminal ) so that only two wires can connect to battery. 4.Output terminals of 3 sensors  which are fixed at top are connected altogether  to the positive terminal of buzzer 1 and  the negative terminals should be connected  to the  negative terminal of battery. 5.
