ACCET TIMES MATHS CLUB INAUGURATION Our ACGCET Maths club had its inaugural function on 16.12.2019, at science block seminar hall. The Maths department HOD  Dr.Vasanthi, presided and distributed prizes to those  students who scored top grades in their previous semester maths paper. More than 50 students were awarded with certificates and prizes. Maths department assistant professor Dr.M.Perumalsamy ,addressed the event. A brief speech was given by clubs’ president about future club activities and the event ended up with vote of thanks. EZHU VELAIKKARA – A Tribute to Everyday Heroes   As part of the Labor Day celebrations, the Leo Club of ACGCET organized “EZHU VELAIKKARA” on 01.05.2025 at the Kotaiyur, Karaikudi. The event aimed to honor the efforts of daily wage workers and highlight the dignity of labor. Volunteers actively took part by distributing refreshing juice and assisting local cucumber vendors, providing them firsthand experience of the challenges faced by these workers. Shawls were presented to selected workers as a token of appreciation. Food was also given to the workers as a token of gratitude. The program served as a touching reminder that empathy and small acts of kindness foster a more compassionate and respectful society. Due to the increase of corona virus the Government of Tamilnadu planned to close the colleges. so, our college decided to send off our students to their houses on 23 rd march. Be Aware of corona and stay healthy. Kho-kho Tournament: The zonal level kho-kho tournament 2021 was conducted on 19/3/2021 in chendhuran college of engineering and technology .players from six colleges had participated in kho-kho match in which Thiyagarajar college of engineering and technology , Madurai   grabbed the first place followed by chendhuran college of engineering and technology ,pudukottai in second place then our college in third place .
