Thiran
August 16 is the last date for project registration in thiran website .Mentor requests can also be given in the website .Project summaries and detailed description are mandatory fields while filling out project details.Its time to get things going as October might mark the end of monsoon session of Thiran.
IAS study circle:
As mentioned last week the IAS study circle which was inaugurated successfully started to function well. Last Saturday(8.8.15) Dr.Rajaganapathy, IAS addressed the gathering in Alagappa University seminar hall about how he became an IAS officer.
Leo club:
Leo club of ACCET has its inauguration function today. All leo members are provided dinner in this function. On 11.8.15 coordinators were selected under various catagories like Designers, Event organizers, Executives, Photographer in both 2nd and 3rd year for the club.
Rotaract club:
Rotaract club of ACCET had finished it enrollment on 12.8.15. Nearly 200 members were enrolled.
Fresher's asso:
Fresher's association had their inaugural function this Tuesday.Around 200 fresher's attended the event .
NCC candidates are all undergoing a continuous practice of marching and parade since last week for the fast approaching Independence day.
NSS:
NSS conducts field works for the 2nd year students regularly. Field works are being actively attended by the second years from the beginning of this semester.
Sundar Pitchai: The man of change
Mr.Sundar Pitchai has been announced as the CEO for the Google.A quick review about the unique man:
He has born in 1972,Chennai. He did his Metallurgical engineering in IIT,Kharagpur and also stated as the brightest of his batch by teachers. He pursued his MS in Stanford University and MBA in Wharton school of University in Pennsylvania.He worked in Engineering and Product management at applied materials and in management consulting at McKinsey & company.
What made him the CEO:
Success is not a single day achievement ,it takes time and hardwork as input which ultimately gives a positive result.
