ALUMNI VISIT
Our college's senior most alumni Mr.SRINIVASAN and Mr.SINGARAM of 1954-1958 batch, the THIRD batch of mechanical engineering in ACCET visited our college on Monday. Mr.SRINIVASAN had his higher studies in UK and worked in R&D, TATA MOTORS, at PUNE.Mr.SINGARAM worked in NLC and has contributed many projects to NLC. They shared valuable words with us.Mechanical students attended the session enthusiastically The meeting was held in virtual class in the metallurgical lab.

On 23rd January ,Saturday...A league match was played between ACCET Cricket Club & Devakottai 'A' at Alagappa University College of Physical Education Cricket Ground...!!ACCET CC won the toss and Elected to Bat First....With the Sparkling Heroic Century by Our Captain P.Vignesh of Final Year...Our ACCET CC post a challenging target of 268/6 in 45 Overs...!!ACCETians did well in bowling too and restrict Devakottai 'A' to 115/10 in 22 Overs..!!
Astonishing Performance by P.Vignesh with both Bat & Ball as well which lead Our team to a Historic Won...!!

Scholar's stage in ECE Dept. :
Not only books, class and lectures will make an engineer. Learning gets enhanced by additional opportunities available like Workshops, Guest lectures and Seminars . Dr.Vasuki , Prof. and Head of Velammal college of Engineering and Technology who was one of our alumni , visited our college yesterday ( 27 th Jan ). She was proud to say that she had done PG and PhD. In ACCET under the guidance of our college faculty member Mr.Ganesan . She took a seminar on Digital Image Processing for a whole day interactively and Third year students of ECE department got benefited a lot.
We all may be aware of QEEE online course . our college had enrolled for this course and under this course second year ECE students had their first session today on the topic Electronics Circuits -2 .
Opportunity knocks the door . But the benefits are based on the matter whether we open the door or not . Let us use the facilities available to all of us.
Campus drive
FL SMIDTH,a mechanical core company came for placement last week. Totally 80 students attended the placement. The first round was written test and 16 among them cleared the first round.Without any GD session recruiters interviewed all the 16 students in which they selected 3 students.Thus totally 3 students got their placement in FL SMIDTH.
CLEAN( Community Led Environment Action Network) ACCET
“A clean India would be the best tribute India could pay to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150 birth anniversary in 2019,” said Shri Narendra Modi on the launch of the Swach Bharat Mission at Rajpath on 2nd October 2014. With this invitation Prof.A.Mala started this national initiative by the name CLEAN ACCET,last year.This program successively stepped its second year here on January 25 by10am ,Dr.S.Rajakumar and Dr.A.Elango addressed first and second year students about the importance of this movement.After this short speech to clean the campus. The program was scheduled in two sessions provided with refreshments for students. NSS and YRC club jointly organized and made this program a grand success.
Muthamil Mandram:
The muthamil mantram event was held on 23 around 11 am at mini drawing hall.The name of the event was VIVATHA MAEDAI and the debate was based on the topic" pothuvavil karuthu suthanthiram perugi varugiratha?arugi varugiratha?" Students from first year and second year actively participated in the debate and the prizes were given for those who performed well.
