EZHU VELAIKKARA – A Tribute to Everyday Heroes   As part of the Labor Day celebrations, the Leo Club of ACGCET organized “EZHU VELAIKKARA” on 01.05.2025 at the Kotaiyur, Karaikudi. The event aimed to honor the efforts of daily wage workers and highlight the dignity of labor. Volunteers actively took part by distributing refreshing juice and assisting local cucumber vendors, providing them firsthand experience of the challenges faced by these workers. Shawls were presented to selected workers as a token of appreciation. Food was also given to the workers as a token of gratitude. The program served as a touching reminder that empathy and small acts of kindness foster a more compassionate and respectful society.   WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: As the intra college sports day 2024, ACMARA rivalry is taking place, as part of it, Women’s basketball match was conducted on 11 th  of march. The Ignatz and Phoenix entered the finals after the former defeated the Akkadians and the latter the Typhonz. After a tough match, Ignatz hailed as winners defeating the Phoenix thanks to the teamwork and amazing gameplay by the Ignatz. Congratulations to all the players. WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL MATCH: “Even if we’re not confident that we’ll win, even if others tell us we don’t stand a chance, we must never tell ourselves that!” – Daichi Sawamura, Haikyuu The women’s volleyball matches were held on 12 th March,2024. The matches were held between the 1 st and 4 th year students and 2 nd and 3 rd year students, from which the 3 rd and 4 th year team had advanced to the finals.                 So far @ ACCET ECE    To have a clear understanding in our subjects live classes by NIT professors were taken on Electromagnetic fields –Maxwell’s Equation in ECE department for the past three days from 2-5 pm  for 2 nd year ECE students. Many colleges like PSG have also undergone  those classes with our college. The doubts were cleared at the end of the everyday’s session. And also every Wednesday classes by EDUSAT  on EMF have been arranged. BASKET IT  Alagappa men's memorial basketball tournament!
