Fruitfully, the Rotract club and ACCET music club of karaikudi and many well wishing sponsors took SRISHTI 16 to the dias of L.CT.L.Palaniappa Chettiar Memorial Hall on 28th of February, Sunday. The students and public got stunned by the musical shower in the morning show at 11 am.

Mechanical association is zealously getting ready for the Shackles 2k16, A National Level Two days symposium. Splendid events both on track and online are awaiting to decorate the DB hall on 14 th & 15 th of March, 2016 . One day Workshop on Robotics and Engine Assembly will be conducted by Faculty of IIT Madras on 15 th March . For more details and registration :

NSS CAMP
Our college is meant not only for education but also for service. This is proven once again by the camp conducted by National Service Scheme for our second year students from this thursday to next wednesday. A total of 150 students, including the coordinators are attending this camp in Pallathur village, a maximum of half an hour travel from our college. Students who are participating are given on duty. Students attending this camp receive a certificate which is valuable in their interview and job oppertunities. This camp is an annual event and it increase service mind in every students.

ISTE students chapter TN156 :
Students from all the department of our college along with short listed students representing various colleges actively participated in the ACSITECH'16, TEQIP-II sponsored second National level technical symposium. The diors added its glow with the presence of Professors from all the department. After a short address by our Principal Prof. A. Mala, our chief guest Dr. K. Muneeshwaran, HOD of CSE department, Mepco Schlenk College of Engineering, extended his speech on how students should analyse problems and prepare themselves to be professionals.
The symposium started by 10.15 am with the welcome address delivered by chapter advisor Dr.C Uma Rani, Asst.prof, CSE department.

CAREER GUIDANCE AND FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Apart from ACISTECH, 3rd march saw another interesting event. The final year and third year students had a career guidance program. It had five sessions mainly sponsored by 'Confederation of Indian Industry'. Session 1 by Mr. Kathir kamanathan, former President of CII. Session 2 by Mr.Rajeesh, MD of suzhee company. Session 3 by Mr. S. M. Manikandan.
In these sessions, corporate scenario and soft skills and things which are expected by industry and also ethical values of an Engineering role were discussed. Session 4, the afternoon session, was conducted by Dr.S.Thiruvengadam of TCE, Madurai. He focussed on faculty - student relationship betterment. Session 5 by Mr.Hari Thiyagarajan, grandson of founder of TCE, focussed on INNOVATION and Entrepreneurship
WORKSHOP IN ECE DEPARTMENT
The continuation of Networks and information security workshop was held on 28.2.16 at optical communication lab in Ece department and a workshop on the topic Secret of EMT and ANTENNA was held in virtual class in parallel to it. This session was attended by both electrical and communication students. The speakers were Dr K. T. Selvam, Department of ECE from SSN college and Dr P. Hanumantha rao, Sameer centre for Electromagnetics , Chennai.The session was interesting and interactive.
