1. FOR ALUMNI AND STUDENTS WHO REGISTERED LAST YEAR, YOU CAN USE THE SAME LOGIN AND CONTINUE USING IT.
2. Resume review portal - Students can load resume and Alumni can comment. Do send one of us a note when you upload, so that we can look at it quickly.
3. Jobs/interns can be posted via Thiran website (this could be internal/ or for company job posting/personal referral etc.).
4. Past projects can be viewed based on years.
5. There is an option to continue your project from previous year, Projects are not restricted to 1 year anymore. Go deep and detailed. This option is subject to approval by Thiran committee - we don’t encourage re-doing/copy pasting same project.

Department of Computer Science and Engineering conducted a three day workshop on "Internet Computing" from 6th to 8th of July.They are about to conduct a workshop on "Soft Computing and Applications" from 12th to 14th of July.

ALUMNI MEET
Our alumnus, also the present H.O.D of Civil department ,GCT, Coimbatore, Mr.Issac referred two eminent personalities for the i-inspire meet. Final year and third year students of Civil department attended the meet.
SOFT-SKILL TRAINING PROGRAMME
A softskill training program is being funded by the alumni of the 1987 batch to train the final and pre-final year students for their placement activities. The program started its formal kickoff at Murugappa hall here on wednesday for third year students with a welcome address by Dr.A.Sivanantha Raja (Professor of ECE department ) followed by addresses from alumni Mr.A.S.Rajeshwar and Mr.Krishnamoorthy (1987 batch). Few of the Final year students shared their experience over a year with the softskill trainee Mr.Sudhir Sadhanadh. This helped the students to have a firm idea about the program.

P 2016 summer olympics is officially called as the GAME OF THE XXXI OLYMPIAD, commonly called as RIO 2016, commences on 5th of August blazing till 21st of August. This leading international sports events is going to be held at Rio de Janerio, Brazil. Nearly 207 Nations are going to participate in the upcoming olympic events. There are 28 sports, to be exact, and 10,293 sports persons are confirmed to partcipate in the sports and more than 10,500 sports persons are expected to participate in the events. These stupendous events are to be sported at MARACANA Stadium.
