View for greenery by EEE department
" Trees are poems the earth writes upon sky." To maintain our campus greenery, EEE department of our college executed an idea of creating a separate garden for them. Also, motivates other departments to do the same. The Faculties and the students of the EEE department planned to create a garden before the department. They collected funds from staff members and students and laid a fencing to protect the saplings. And the saplings are planted on last Sunday. The work was initiated by Prof. Amuthan and all the saplings were planted and watering is done regularly by the students to create a beautiful garden.
YOUTH RED CROSS - Service Minded club
On Monday , at Seminar Hall there was an interesting lecture handled by a young and energetic personality named as Ramesh who is a not only a Managing director, but also HR and he is doing a research on renewable resources to avoid wastage in our hometown for the past 8 years. The lecture is organised by our program officer prof K.T Loganathan on behalf of our Principal Dr.A.Elango.The topic of the lecture is "Employment for the youth from renewable resources". The chiefguest explained clearcut view of 'biogas' with Interactive manner.He proved that " Success has no time limits". At the beginning of his career, he was just a diploma students but now he is an graduate of more than 6 degree's.His inspiring and motivational speech reached the students to do project's on biogas.This created more awareness among students about usage of biogas.First day of Fresher's association
With quite a great surprise seeing the whole gallery hall getting filled by all those new buds at around 4:50, the freshers association's first event took place. With great agility and energy, their gangs walked through the campus premises ,roaming and running around, grabbing all things that they could see, in the hunt for A-Z equipment . Vinayaka chaturthi also known as ganesh chaturthi is the Hindu festival that reveres god ganesha.A ten day festival it starts on the fourth day of Hindu luni-solar calendar month bhadrapada,which typically falls in Gregorian months of august or September.The festival is marked with installation of ganesh clay idols privately in homes,or publicly on elaborate pandals'In this year it falls on 25 th August, Friday.
The festival ends on the tenth day after start,wherein the idol is carried in a public procession with music and group chanting,then immersed in nearby water body such as river or ocean,thereafter the clay idol dissolves and ganesha is believed to return to mount kailasha to parvati and Shiva.
