Hockey
The district leg of the competitions for Chief Minister's Trophy under Men and Women categories was conducted at Anna Stadium on December 2-4.
The competition in basket ball, volleyball, hockey, football and kabbadi was conducted on the first day, badminton on the second day, and athletics, swimming, and table tennis on the final day, for the participants below 21 years of age.In the hockey match our FOUR ACGCETIANS - Manoj Kumar, Vel Durai, Ajith Kumar,Abinash were participated and won the great trophy by expressing their talents. They proved their individuality and they succeed. They were awarded with the cash price of 18,000.Hearty congratulations for their success.
Project Presentation
Atlast of the year,the present final years were involved in placement activities besides that, two members from our college went for an intern at IIT ,Indore.An innovative project called "Self generized vigilant system for the conservation of ecosystem". Its an wonderful opportunity that the alumini of our college is their guide named Dr.I.A Palani (Hod of mechantronics- IIT Indore),Ss.Maniprabhu(Research scholar mechantronics dept at IIT Indore).They aimed to evict the wild animals safely without causing harm to both animals and human beings and their project were published and it went for an proff to jappan .Its regards that it is a Mathyapradesh Govt project.On the advice of Natrajan sir from Mechanical dept ,N.Praveen Kumar and Sugirtha thereas from EEE have succeeded in their project and it seems to have much involvement for an upcoming students.

Muhammad Ali
Muhammad Ali was an American professional boxer and an activist. He was born in January 17 1942, he was regarded as one of the most significant and celebrated sports person of 20th century. At the age of 18 he won a gold medal in light heavyweight division in 1960 summer Olympic in Rome and later turned as professional. At age 22 in 1964, he won the WBA,WBC, and lineal heavyweight titles from Sony Liston in a major upset.
His real name was Cassius clay. Clay then converted to Islam and changed his name from Clay to Muhammad Ali. He set an racial pride for African Americans and resistance to white domination during the civil rights movement.
Ali is regarded as one of the leading heavyweight champion of the 20th century. He was nicknamed as " the greatest " he was involved in several historic boxing matches. Throughout his career he played 61 matches among this he won 56 matches. Until his 32nd match he even doesn't know what is mean by defeat. The man of victory, the man who not only won the boxing tittles but also won the hearts of several people left the boxing ring in peace on January 3 2016.
