   ZOHO INTERNSHIP                                         An internship supports the students in an engineering college to acquire real-life experience and exposure. Moreover, an internship helps them to gain the best exposure of working in the real world. To offer such an opportunity to our 3 rd- year students, ZOHO conducted a small selection process in our campus on 11th    April 2019 in Sangamam hall. Nearly, 150 students from EEE, ECE and CSE department had attended the first round of selection. The first round of selection consisted of  C MCQ questions and aptitude questions which was held for nearly one and half hour .16 students got selected to the second round which is an interview round. VALLAL ALAGAPPAR BIRTH ANNIVERSARY: Our principal  Dr.A.Elango,M.E.,Ph.D. on Saturday (06/04/19) paid floral tributes to Dr.RM.Alagappa Chettiar on his 110th birth anniversary. Nearly 80 students from our college went with him and they distributed sweet to people. Alagappa chettiar, a man of rare wisdom, and forethought, founded Alagappa Chettiar Educational Trust with the sole aim of developing the backward area of Karaikudi into a centre for higher education and provided necessary funds for the establishment of  educational institutions. Even though he passed away from this world not from our hearts... NSS CAMP:       Our college NSS unit had arranged a seven days camp from 11.03.19 to 17.03.19. Swachh Bharat camp and special camp in Palavangudi village. Nearly 150 students from the second year were selected to attend the camp. The camp mainly focussed on cleaning the pond and surrounding areas in the village. And also it focussed on Unnat Bharat Abhiyan survey. The students actively involved in taking the survey and nearly 150 residents were surveyed from 7 villages including Aathangudi, Surakudi, Thiruvelangudi. Awareness about the central government schemes was created by our students among the people of the village. At the end of the camp during the valedictory ceremony, the felicitation was given by Dr.C. Samuel Chellaih, NSS regional Directorate of Tamilnadu, Pondicherry and Andaman and Nicobar islands. The prizes were distributed to the best volunteers of the camp.
