plays throughout the event. Once the parade begins, as per the custom all
attendees rise in its honor and all uniformed air personnel stand in the
audience and salute the parade.
The ‘Nishan Toli’ is carried by a
lieutenant in the middle of the ground. The Nishan Toli is a flag which
symbolizes the bravery, valor and commitment to mission, integrity and
excellence of the Indian Air Force. Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of
the country, presented it to the then lieutenant on April 1, 1954. Since, then

Last week's answers
1.The answer is c. 46 years
Let mother’s age be 7x years then
daughter’s age = x years. (7x – 4 ) /(x-4) = 19/1
7x-4 = 19(x-4)
19x-7x = 76 – 4
12x = 72
X=6
Mother’s age after 4 years = (7x+4) = (7×6+4)
= 46 years
2. The answer is d.17.6085
(0.56% of 225) × ( 3.25% of 430)
= (56/100 × 1/100 × 225) × ( 325/100 ×
1/100 × 430)
= ( 126/100 × 13975/1000) = 1.26 ×
13.975 =17.6085
3. The answer is d. ₹ 60
( C.P of 17 balls) – ( S.P of 17 balls)
= (C.P of 5 balls)
C.P of 12 balls = S.P of 17 balls = ₹
720
C.P of 1 ball = ₹ (720/12) = ₹ 60
4. The answer is a. 7 : 15
7:15 = 7/15 = 0.466
15:23 =
15/23 = 0.652
17:25 = 17/25 = 0.68
21:39 = 21/39 = 0.538
Clearly, 7:15 is the lowest
5. The answer is a. 4:3:2
Let their investments be ₹ 3x for p
months; ₹ 4x for q months and ₹ 6x for r months respectively.
Then, 3xp:4xq:6xr = 1:1:1
3p:4q:6r =1:1:1
So, 3p=4q, q = 3p / 4. And 4q = 6r, r =
2q /3 = (2/3 × 3p/4) = p/2
