THE ACCET TIMES :
VOICE OF A BAFFLED FINAL YEAR STUDENT:
After all those works
in college, awww...finally started
to plan about
enjoying the remaining final 25 days of college life. When everything is all set, with
the joyful heart ...thinking of all those enjoyment and memories that are going
to be created starting from sports meet, cultural program to farewell function .... all
of sudden one pop sound
distracts this beautiful imagination this news popes up in all our notifications..." All
educational institutions are closed till 31st March". At first, as a mind of a typical
student, which was trained to be happy on hearing
the holiday news, made us to make
a happy reaction in our faces.
Then came the heart
of a final year student
to remind our minds
that these are the days
we can never
get back in our life.
We are losing
that. A minute of silence prevailed in the mind. Slowly each and every contact in our phones started
to regret about these holidays
through their Whats App
status and chats. Without thinking of all the
upcoming stuffs, everyone
started to pack up
and soon within
a day all were at their own
homes.
The passing of days was easy
for two days, starting from morning to night with these phones, YouTube, songs,
television and books. This routine continued for days. But, for the first time these
things started to get bored. When I started searching reason behind this weird
boring thought, I got some things which I thought to share as this would be the
mindset of most of my final year friends. The anxiety and eagerness about our
future, the reminder of hard truth which we all(may be, I) try to avoid, "college
life has come to an end and we are going to miss our friends" and in addition to this....this invisible
demon corona all these stuffs baffled my mind. With all
these confusing situations, in an idle state
of not able to do anything further, that one thought which keeps positivity in
mind is that, "this too shall pass".
Hope this opening up, creates
some satisfaction in your minds because as a person what makes us happy
is that realizing that there are people
who thinks and stays alike us.
Let's meet up soon
