He joined University of Bonn but he was jailed due to drunkenness. Later he moved to University of Berlin where he studies law and philosophy. There he joined a movement knows as Young Hegelians and criticised the cultural and political establishment of that day. Marx joined the Liberal Democratic newspaper called Rheinische Zeitung and later became the editor of that newspaper in 1842.German government banned that newspaper and he moved to Paris where he met his forever friend Friedrich Engels. In 1845 the Prussian Government intervened and Marx was expelled from France moved to Brussels. In 1847 the newly founded Communist League in London drafted Marx and Engels to write “The Communist Manifesto”which was published the following year. In it they mentioned class materialism and making the working men the new ruling class of the world. He worked as a journalist there, including 10 years as a correspondent of the New York Daily Turbine. But he was financially supported by Engels. In 1864 Marx helped to found the International working men’s association and gave inaugural address. Three years later he published “Capital”(Das Kapital) his masterwork of his economic theory. In it he wrote how Capitalism works and struggles of the working class. He worked on manuscripts on additional volume but remained unfinished and he died on March 14,1883.
Even though he can earn good income with his intelligence he chose to write the struggles of the working class and sacrificed his life for the working class. Marx will live forever and never be forgotten.

Magnetic Hills
Anti gravity hills, sounds mysterious right?
If we place a vehicle without giving life to the engine, it will move uphill on it’s own which seems to defy gravity.
All over the world such hills are present. In India we can find magnetic hills in the states of Chattisgarh, Gujarat,Maharashtra and the union territory Ladakh. There are lot of myths about this magnetic hill. But Magnetic Hill is actually an ‘Optical Illusion' produced by the surrounding land. So a slight downhill slope appears to be an uphill slope for us. This confusion of viewing a downhill as uphill is because of the obstructed view of horizon. Without a horizon in view, we can’t find any reliable reference to say a slope is downhill or uphill.

ANSWER FOR LAST WEEK QUESTIONS:
1)Answer: Option B) 5
Let the speed of the stream be x km/hr. Then,
Speed downstream = (15 + x) km/hr,
Speed upstream = (15 - x) km/hr.
30/ (15 + x) + 30/(15 - x)= 4 × (1/2)
900/225 - x^2 = 9/2
9x^2 = 225
x^2 = 25
x = 5 km/hr.
2) Answer: Option C) 42,33
Let their marks be (x + 9) and x.
Then, x + 9 = 56/100 (x + 9 + x)
25(x + 9) = 14(2x + 9)
3x = 99
x = 33
So, their marks are 42 and 33.
3) Answer: Option C) 1200
2(15 + 12) x h = 2(15 x 12)
h = 180/27m = 20/3m.
Volume={15x12x(20/3)}=1200Cu.m
4) Answer: Option C) 16km
Let the distance travelled on foot be x km.
Then, distance travelled on bicycle = (61 -x) km.
So, x/4 + (61 -x)/9 = 9
9x + 4(61 -x) = 9 x 36
5x = 80
x = 16 km.
5) Answer: Option A) Rs.890
Arun : Kamal : Vinay = (8,000 x 6) : (4,000 x 8) : (8,000 x 8)
= 48 : 32 : 64
= 3 : 2 : 4.
Kamal's share ={4005 x(2/9)}=Rs.890.
