College fee reminder :

Fees structure for B.E (Regular and Part Time) II, III, IV Year and M.E(Regular) II Year has been released by our college. Students are requested to follow the instructions in the notice to pay the fees. Last date for payment is 20.12.2020.

Placement news:

3 companies visited our college for placements from Nov - Dec

Geakminds company conducted online test for 20 shortlisted student on Nov 25 and 8 selected for the next round. After interview, 3 students were selected for final interview.

Orzota company conducted online test on Nov 30 and Coding round on Dec 8 respectively.

Kaar technologies counducted Online test on Dec 9.

Inauguration of Common Mess Hall:

The alumni of Alagappa Chettiyar Government College of Engineering and Technology have built a modern mess at a cost of Rs 3.5 crore. On a meet held in 2018, the alumni of 1980 batch decided to build a comfortable integrated mess to create a good environment for the hostel students. Then, the ACCET Charitable Trust was started with the permission of the Directorate of Technical Education. The Trust's Executive Chairman Sabapathy, Managing Trustee Sampath, Secretary Appavu, Treasurer Prabhu and other committee members have joined hands in building this integrated mess at a cost of Rs 3.5 crore. Ganapati Homam was held in this building in the presence of Principal Dr.R. Malayalamurthi, department HOD’s and other officials. The 27,500 square feet, two-story mess can hold seat up to 1,000 people at a time. Accordingly, the kitchen is also been modernized. The alumni said that the building would be handed over to the government soon.

Club events :

LEO CLUB OF ACGCET

The LEO Club of our college organised a multi special event "TROIKA" to celebrate International Leo Day on December 6, 2020.Students from third year actively participated as teams in the event. The winners of the event was the team SPARTANZZ and the runners were FANTASTIC FOUR.

ROTARACT CLUB OF ACGCET

The Rotaract club of our college have conducted an event named “BEE IN THE BONNET” on 6th of December 2020. Students of our college have actively participated in the event. At the end of the event, K.Kaviya  from 3rd year ECE department was announced as the Winner of the event. Followed by her, A.Kottaisamy from 3rd year Civil department was announced as the Runner. The winners were awarded with cash prizes.
