TECHNICAL SEMINAR

Technical seminar for EEE:

The students of second year Electrical and Electronics Engineering had conducted a technical seminar on the title, “Emerging Technologies in EEE” at Sangamam hall. The seminar was conducted on the 9th of December in the presence of the Placement Officer Dr.K.Baskaran, the Placement Coordinator Dr.X.Suganthi, the Assistant Professor of EEE Prof.G.Amuthan and other faculties of EEE department.

Technical seminar for Mechanical:

The students of second year Mechanical Engineering had conducted a technical seminar on the title "TECH TAQDIM” at Sangamam hall. The seminar was conducted on the 4th of December in the presence of the Principal Dr.K.Manonmani, the HOD of Mechanical engineering Dr.R.Malayalamurthi, the Placement Officer Dr.K.Baskaran, the Placement Coordinator Dr.X.Suganthi, the Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering Dr.B.Guruprasad and other faculties of Mechanical department.

FOOTBALL MATCH

The mega football event was held for two days (04/12/2021 ,05/12/2021) in our college. There were 25 teams that participated actively. All matches were knock out matches. Out of 25 teams, a team from Alumuni also came into the competition. The Second year teams gave the highest count of all the years. Each match was conducted honestly by the corresponding referees. The first prize was won by BARCA team which is an Alumni team. The second prize was won by SIUU BOYS team from third years. And the third prize was won by PELE team from final years. The prizes were given by Mr. Manoj sir. The match created a better refining time among all the years.

FRESHER'S EVENT

The Fresher's Association conducted a stress buster event at the gallery hall on the 7th of December. They conducted two events, mono acting and bottle flipping which is named as "Two Two". Many freshers participated in the event enthusiastically.

LEO CLUB EVENTS

MEGA EVENT:

The Leo club of our college had conducted an event named Juggle Carnival which had five events (Puzzle, Ball pen challenge, Mime, Bottle pen challenge, Spin) for freshers on the 6^th of December in Gallery hall.

TREASURE HUNT:

Another event named Treasure Hunt was conducted by the Leo club of our college for freshers on 8^th December in Gallery hall. Many students had participated actively.

YRC EVENT

FIELD WORK:

YRC had conducted a field work for the second year students on 07/12/2021.

FUN EVENT:

YRC has conducted a fun event named as Flip-flop on 8/12/2021 in EEE third-year class room. Most of the second year students participated actively

ROTARACT EVENT

The Rotaract club of our college had conducted an event named 'Festetronix' for the first year students on the 9^th of December at Gallery hall. Many of the first year students had participated with great interest and enthusiasm.

WORLD LEVEL SKILL COMPETITION

The World level skill competition held for Indian level south zone in Andra University convention centre ,Vishakhapatnam on 4th December 2021 at 11.30 AM . Our college students M.Eyalarasan and R.Mohan from 3rd year civil department were participated and got 3rd place in concrete construction skill competition which was held between 3rd to 5th December.

ECE FRESHER'S PARTY

The first years of ECE were specially welcomed by the ECE department on 09/12/2021. The ECE HOD, Dr. A. Sivanantha Raja attended the inauguration party as a special chief guest. A very short time culturals took part in the fresher’s party. This party paved a way for ECE first year students to get excited about their ECE department.

COMMON ADMISSION TEST (CAT)

The Common Admission Test is a computer based exam for admission in a graduate management programs(MBA/PGDM) in 20 Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).

The test consists of three sections:

-verbal ability

-Quantitative ability

-Data interpretation and logical reasoning
