COLLEGE REOPENING:

After successful completion of the semester exams in online mode, the college was reopened on 23^rd February for the second, third and final year students. The even semester has begun in offline mode for the second, third and final years.

Conclusion Of Semester Examinations:

Earlier this week, all the odd semester examinations, excluding the first odd and the last odd, were completed via online mode and the last odd was completed via offline mode. Exams for the first odd semester are yet to begin earlier next week. Competition among the students is expected to face a hike every year, in spite of the mode and timeline of the examinations.

Chess: Victory of Praggnanandhaa over Magnus Carlsen

16-year-old chess prodigy of India from Chennai, Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa has defeated Magnus Carlsen, a five-time World Chess Champion and a Norwegian chess grandmaster. By doing so, Pragg has become the third Indian to defeat Magnus Carlsen after the legendary grandmasters Viswanathan Anand and Pentala Harikrishna.

ISRO/ BARC

These two are public sector institutes. Here the candidates will be given an opportunity to work in a complete technical field. Those who are interested in research work can attempt this competitive exam after graduation from engineering and fulfill their dreams. The ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) Recruitment notification is released for various post vacancies on the ISRO website as well as in all leading newspapers many times a year. Applicants can apply for  jobs online and pay the application fee. Apart from this, the ISRO recruits other branches based on the requirement.

Eligibility Criteria to apply and write ICRB Exam:

Educational Qualification: An annual recruitment of various posts for candidates who have completed B.E/ B.Tech in ECE, CSE, and ME ( Mechanical Engineering) is done by ISRO. The exam is  called as ICRB and it is conducted by the ISRO every year.

Age Limit: Age limit varies depending upon the posts .

Number of Attempts: There is no limit for attempts in ICRB exam.

There are two options available for BARC (Babha Atomic Research Centre) jobs to the Engineering graduates.

One through GATE Examination and the other one is an online test conducted by BARC. Getting into BARC is easy for those who have their interest in the Engineering Services.
