THIRAN DEMO DAY
The most awaited demo day of the annual project competition conducted by THIRAN was held on 23rd of April 2022. The event was graced by the presence of our beloved alumni, Mr. Senthil Anandha Prakash, Mr. Vijaya Krishna, Mr. Shanmugaraj, Mr. Guru Prasath, Mrs. Jeeva Bharathi, Mr. Rathnavel, Mr. Renugopal, Mr. Abirama Ramaswamy, Mr. Senthil Kumar, Mrs. Hyacinth Suganthi, Mr. Ravi Kumar, Mrs. Ramya and our very own HODs from various departments. About 55 projects were presented before the panel of judges. Among them 18 were from EEE, 13 from ECE, 7 from Mechanical, 8 from Civil and 9 from CSE. Everyone participated actively and made the event a grand success.
BOOK FAIR
The book fair was held in Sivagangai from 15th April,2022 to
25th April,2022. Various competitions were held at the book fair. Among those,
in the Bharatam competition held at the district level on 25th April,2022, our
college students from second year won second prize. The students were given
cash prizes for their exuberant talents.
BLOOD DONATION CAMP
A
blood donation camp was conducted in our college on 28th
of April. Col. Rajnish Pratap, the commanding officer, 9 TN BN NCC was the
chief guest of this camp along with our beloved principal Dr. P.K. Palani and
vice principal Dr. K. Baskaran and programme officers. The blood donation camp
was volunteered by NSS, YRC and NCC members of our college. More than 250
students and staff participated in this camp.
GRADUATION DAY
The Graduation Day for the 2020 batch passed out – the
techatronz, of our college was held on 29th April,2022 at Murugappa Hall around
2.30p.m. The function was made wonderful by the presence of the chief guest,
Shri. V. Pandi Raja, IRS, alumnus of the 1997 batch of our college. The
graduation day fulfilled the long-awaited dream of students with fun-loaded
memories in college lives, to cherish forever in their lives.
TOP DESIGNERS ‘22
A
regional level designing contest for engineering students was conducted on 29th
April Sudharshan engineering college in Pudukkottai. About five colleges
participated in the designing contest. There were two categories, the first
category consisted of 1st and 2nd year students and second category consisted of 3rd
and 4th years. Students from 2nd and 3rd
year of our ECE department participated in the contest. Under the first
category, Aswin S, Dharaneesh K and Dinesh Kumar R as a team were the winners.
Arthi, Rishika and Sowmiya won the second prize. Thiviyadarssini, Vidhya and
Anusha won the third prize. In the second category, R. Vishalini Devi, R. Hema
and S. Hariraama Krishnan as a team were the winners. Saanakya, Mohamed Alla
Pitchai and Sundarapandi as a team were the runners. Congratulations to all the
winners and participants.

AAO (LIC Assistant Administrative Officer) & AE exam is conducted to
recruit candidates to the posts of Assistant Engineers (A.E) - Civil/
Electrical /Structural /MEP & Assistant Architect (A.A) and Assistant
Administrative Officer (AAO) Specialist. Life Insurance Corporation of India
(LIC) offers candidates an opportunity to join the Insurance Sector by clearing
one of the most reputed Insurance Exam.

The
Written Exam will contain 3 sections namely: Reasoning, English Language,
Quantitative Aptitude. The total duration of the written exam will be 1 hour or
60 minutes. 0.25 marks will be deducted if a candidate attempts a question
wrong. Preliminary Examination consisting of an objective test will be
conducted online.

AAO & AE Mains Exam 2022
The
main examination will consist of objective tests for 200 marks. The objective
test will be online. The objective test will have separate timing for every
section.
