SOFTSKILL INAUGURATION 

SOFT SKILL is mandatory to all third-year students. Training for the same is provided by the alumni association of our college. The inauguration program for the SOFT SKILL TRAINING was organised and held on 20^th July 2022 in Murugappa hall. The program was presided by our beloved vice principal Dr. K. Baskaran and Mr. S. R. Sabapathy, the CEO and president of Qmax Pvt.Ltd who is also our alumni. Advocate Shantipriya, a holistic life coach, was the guest speaker.

SEMESTER EXAMS AND COLLEGE REOPEN 

Our college conducted the even semester exams for 1st, 2nd ,3rd year students. The semester began on 27th of June, 2022 and ended on 15th of July,2022. The exams were held on different dates within those intervals. The students were tested on their knowledge of their subjects. The college reopened on 15^th July, 2022 for the 3^rd year students and 18^th July,2022 for the second-year students.

ECHOES '92.96- SILVER JUBILEE CELEBRATION

The silver jubilee celebrations, took place in our college on 16^th July 2022. Echoes- -’92.96, a grand function was organised in the Murugappa hall. The function was attended by the alumni of the 92-96 batch along with their family and professors. Alumni and other dignitaries inaugurated the silver jubilee guest house.

TECHBYTES - WHAT IS NVIDIA’S OPTIMUS?

Most gaming laptops have two GPUs, the integrated graphics (iGPU) which is part of the processora of Intel or AMD, and the discrete graphics (dGPU), Nvidia RTX 3060 for example. The dGPU is more powerful, so it burns more power. This is not ideal in a portable device where battery life is important. Instead of using the beefy dGPU all the time, when they’re not needed the lower powered integrated graphics are used instead. The dGPU is still there and ready to be called on demand. When you open a game or some other GPU intensive workload, the system is smart to run the workload on the more powerful dGPU. This is Optimus at work, also known as MS-Hybrid.

YADUMANAVAL 7.0

Our college started its service on 21-07-1952 due to the forethought of the great Philanthropist Dr.R M.Alagappa Chettiar. In order to recognize the service of that great man to the society, ACCETOSA in association with Rotary Club of Sivakasi, Rotary Club of Karaikudi, Rotary Club of Sivakasi Pyrocity, Rotary Club of Sivakasi Diamond and Rotaract Club of ACGCET organized a Motivational speech, Yadumanaval 7.0 (A program emphasizing the empowerment of women) for the benefit of our college students on 21-07-2022 in Murugappa Hall at 10:00am. Motivational Speaker Dr.Jayanthasri Balakrishnan addressed the II and III-Year B.E. students on the occasion and amazed the audience with the interactive session. Dr.V.Saraswathy , Chief Scientist - CECRI Karaikudi was the chief guest of the program. She inspired the students by sharing her success story. Student’s active participation and guest's amazing speeches made the event a grand success.
