TREE PLANTING PROGRAM
A teacher is a compass
that activates the magnets of curiosity, knowledge, and wisdom in the pupils.
On the occasion of teacher’s day on 5/09/2022, the final year students of ECE
department organized a tree planting program. Our principal Dr. PK. Palani sir,
the head of ECE department Dr. A. Sivanandharaja sir and ECE faculty members
planted samplings.
TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION
Teaching
is the profession that teaches all the other professions. The third-year
students of the EEE department, extended their hearty gratitude to the
professors by organizing Teacher’s Day celebration on 5th September
2022. The Celebration was held at the virtual classroom in EEE department. The
students celebrated the professors who mold their lives for a better future.
MUSIC CLUB SELECTION
It is a well-known truth
that music is the universal language. The music club of our college conducted a
selection for second- and third-year students. Talented singers and
instrumentalists were selected and joined the ACGCET music club family.
ORIENTATION TALK ON IT JOBS
On 16th September
2022, all the third year and second year computer science department students
attended the orientation talk on IT job opportunities given by Gofrugal
technology Pvt. ltd. The students were given a detailed explanations about
various jobs available in IT industry. It was an interactive session and
students were able to get a thorough insight on IT jobs.
EEE ASSOCIATION COORDINATOR SELECTION
The EEE department of our
college conducted coordinator selection for the 2nd and 3rd year students at
our college. The students participated eagerly in the selection rounds. The
selection was conducted in two rounds. The selection was held in the EEE
Classrooms. The winners were announced for both years. Hats off to the winners
and congratulations on contributing their best in the future.
ORIENTATION TALK ON JOBS IN USA
The
placement cell of our college organized an orientation talk to the students on
"Perspectives, prospects of higher education and employment opportunities
in the USA" at Sangamam Hall on 9th September 2022 at 5 pm. With
reference to Dr. Loganathan, Professor of Chemistry department, Dr. K. N.
Govindarajan (M.Sc. Ph. D), currently the product manager at Ford Motor
Company, Detroit, USA, delivered the orientation talk. The information shared
in the session was so useful and the students who participated felt clear and
sure of their desire to pursue their future in the USA.
The
Graduation Day for the 2019 batch passed out, of our college was held on 9th of
September 2022 at Murugappa Hall. The graduation day fulfilled the long-awaited
dream of students with fun-loaded memories of college lives, to cherish forever
in their lives.
MECHANICAL ASSOCIATION COORDINATOR SELECTION
The coordinator selection
for the mechanical department was conducted last week. The selection was held
in the mechanical classrooms. Both the second-year students and the third-year
students had their selections. The selection was conducted in two rounds. The
results were declared. Congratulations to the association coordinators and well
wishes to contribute their best.
ENGINEER’S DAY CELEBRATION
The
Institution’s Innovation Council of our College conducted a session on “Do
Engineering” to celebrate National Engineer’s Day on 15th September 2022. The
session was held in the virtual classroom in the EEE department. The session
was handled by Prof. V. Pradeep Sir, Assistant professor of the EEE department.
The session motivated the young minds of the students to analyze the wonder of
engineering in our day-to-day lives.
ELOCUTION COMPETITION
The CSIR-CECRI conducted an elocution competition on 21st September 2022 on the topic ‘contribution of scientific fraternity in Indian freedom movement’. The program was conducted to commemorate the 138th birth anniversary of noble laurate Sir C.V. Raman. Many students from our college participated in the competition. Arun Kumar from third year EEE department won the first prize along with a cash reward of 3000 rupees and Divya Barathi S from third year ECE department won second prize and along with a cash reward of 2000 rupees.

BUILD CLUB MEMBERS SELECTION
The Build Club of our college conducted a quiz for member selection on 15th September ,2022 in the mechanical classrooms. The interested students from 2nd and 3rd year eagerly participated in the quiz. The quiz had basic technical and programming questions. The eager participation of students was appreciative.
