NAAN MUTHALVAN- CAREER GUIDANCE

Naan Mudhalvan career guidance program was organized by our college National Service Scheme was held at SS matric school in Singampunari on 27/4/2023. 13 NSS Volunteers attended the program. The first half of the Naan Mudhalvan program was Career guidance training to school staffs and school student NSS Volunteer. Coordinators of the program explained about the available courses that a student can choose after their higher secondary studies. The second half is fully based on how to make dropped out students return to the school and make them write exams.

LEO FEST AND VALEDICTION

The LEO club of our college conducted the most awaited ART and PROJECT EXPO on May 4^th 2023 which was followed by the valedictory function of the year 2022-2023. Several students from all the years participated in the expo and showcased their talents. The projects were overviewed by our Vice Principal Dr.K.Baskaran sir and the club’s faculty in charge Professor V.Jawahar sir. Followed by that, with the gracious presence of the club’s staff in charge Professor V.Jawahar sir, the valedictory function was held successfully, and the winners of the expo were awarded. It was followed by a wonderful performance by our Music club of our college.

ROTARACT 15^TH VALEDICTION

Rotaract club of our college organized their 15^th valediction on May 5^th. The program was held in the Sangamam Hall. Rotaract staff in-charge and Assistant Professor of EEE department, V Pradeep sir took part in this program as the Guest of Honour. Assistant Professor of Civil department, R Manigandan Sir felicitated the program. All the final year office bearers were honoured with certificates and upcoming office bearers were announced by President HarishAswathanam from final year Mech department. Anuraj Kishore and Thevi Srinidhi from 3^rd year ECE department were designated as the President and Secretary of Rotaract Club of ACGCET for the upcoming year.

‘Saying goodbye is not the end of all, no matter what, the impact that was created by the final year office bearers remains forever in all our hearts’.

THIRAN PRIZE DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY-2022

‘Rewarding makes individuals more confident and courageous’. Thiran is a platform for exposing talents. On 6^th May from 10 A.M. THIRAN of our college organized the Prize Distribution Ceremony-2022. Our honourable principal Dr P K Palani Sir was the Chief Guest and President of ACCETOSA, Ela Porkkovan Sir was invited as the Guest Of Honour. Along with them many dignitaries represented the program. They were retired Proff. Ravikumar Sir, Sir Ramesh Sir, our alumni Mr. Swaminathan Prabhu Sir, Mr Munishwaran, Mr Karthikeyan and place coordinator Suganthi ma’am. The jury award winners for Dr. Regina Pappa Award, sponsored by Cecil Sundar Sir, 1994, was given to R. Sathiyan, I harish from CSE department and K Madhavan, S vinothkumar, M M Nithish from EEE. Squadron Leader Victoria Cecil Award sponsored by Cecil Sundar Sir, 1994 was given to S Thevi Srinidhi and J Joselin Shinita from ECE department. Ela Gandhimathi Award sponsored by Ela Porkkovan Sir, 1998, was given to I Jeffrey, S Sathyan, S Bala Mani Arasu from Mech department. MSPK Award sponsored by Kishore Kumar Soundarapandian Sir, 2001, was given to B Sruthi, S Nivetha, B Hamsini, S Pavithra, D Dinesh Raja, L Nagarajan from Civil department. S. G. Jayaprakash Award sponsored by Senthil Anand Prakash Sir,1984, was given to 1^st year students, M Hari Prasath, P Ganesh, S Sivasangaran, V Prathiksha Aara.

IBM SKILLS BUILD

With IBM Skills Build, you’ll gain core technology and important workplace skills like: leadership skills, communication skills, programming skills, problem solving skills, and/or writing skills that are aligned to in-demand jobs. Plus, you can earn digital credentials to show employers what you’ve achieved. Our college students from all three years except final year received the offer from them which was in online mode. In the online session they taught how to create an account and login into it. Also, they guided the students regarding the courses that are available and obtaining certification. The sessions were allotted for third years and second years on 9^th May as two batches, one from 11am to 1pm and from 3pm to 5pm. First years had their session on 10^th May from 11am to 1pm. Every department attended it and got benefitted. They enhanced the interest of increasing our skills and made everyone pumped up.

NSS VALEDICTORY AND AWARENESS PROGRAMME

National Service Scheme of our college organized an awareness program on no tobacco and Valedictory Function on 11^th May. Interventional radiologist from K.M.C Hospital, Dr. Balaji Srinivasan sir was invited as the Chief Guest for this program. He explained the cons of intaking tobaccos by a human. Staff coordinators Prof. S. Balasundar sir, Dr. R. N. Maariyammal ma’am enhanced the program with their presence. Prof. S. Balasundar sir presided the program and Chief Guest felicitated it. Presence of Dr. Loganathan sir was ice on cake to the valedictory function. The final year coordinators were honored with certificates and third years office bearers were announced on the flow of the program. Now, Vignesh Kumar from EEE department is the President of ACGCET National Service Scheme organization and Anusha from ECE is the vice President of the same.
